Happy 8th Birthday!
Dear Friends, Families and Colleagues
We have an Anniversary!! Entrust has been operating now for 8 years. We launched the Organisation in 2013 based on the ethos of trust, integrity and compassion. We can’t quite believe it, time flies when you’re doing what you love!
We started with a blank sheet of paper, ideas and a grand desire to make a positive difference to the lives of parents and families with children and young people with additional needs.
We now have a staff team of 20 dedicated individuals, many of whom have lived experience. We are all happy in our work and always go that ‘extra mile’ to make things turn out for the best.
I take this opportunity to thank all our staff and wonderful volunteers for their contribution, commitment and care, they are the heart and soul of our organisation.
We will continue to strive to deliver excellent services and if we ‘fall short’ on occasions we are sorry but know that you trust us enough to have an honest conversation to help us keep improving.
So perhaps you might join us to wish Entrust a “Very Happy Birthday” as we continue our mission to develop a brighter future together with families whose needs we endeavour to meet.
Katumba for Half Term!
Here’s something different to brighten up half term …………….
Join us for an amazing FREE experience of fierce fusion of UK big beat, Caribbean calypso and the carnivals of Northeast Brazil.
Katumba create an explosion of rhythmic revelry that you can’t help but dance to. Ritchie and Juliana, who are internationally known for their drumming and movement projects fostering mental and physical well being, will take you through an amazing virtual session.
This will be a mindful and feel good family session.
Email Lynne lynnebarton@entrustcarepartnership.org.uk to book your place for Thursday’s 18th and 25th February.
Happy 7th Birthday to Entrust!
Thank you everyone, who’ve been involved with us since the start – July 2013!
We’ve had an amazing 7 years and it just gets better! And thanks to Selina for this fab film!
Lovin’ our Young Fundraisers …
Six weeks into the Coronavirus Lockdown and we’re all looking forward (like everyone else!) to hearing what the ‘new normal’ will be, when we can get back out there to support our families again, or open up the cafes that we’ve been developing over the past few years, to encourage and nurture our young baristas.
In the meantime, let a little sunshine in by reading about what two lovely families have been getting up to, to support our work and raise funds for us!
Freddie Mann and his daddy Ollie are cycling quite a distance – no mean feat! And the lovely daughters of one of our own Care Partners have been Pebble Painting …. you can read more by going to our Raise Funds page!
