Our Just Imagine Music Festival last June was a resounding success, we’d like to say a massive thank you to Old Leamingtonians for hosting the event, and not forgetting the help from our many supporters who offered their time voluntarily.
Local bands signed up to play lots of different styles of music, Pop, Rock and Latin American and we had more entertainment from a Rock choir, Magician and Dancers – all this along with the karaoke tent and a chill out area made this the Summer event of 2018!!
Scrummy street food, pop up vintage tea and cake stall and other refreshments meant none of us went hungry, plus stalls selling festival merchandise, face painting/festival glitter were enjoyed by all!
Our fantastic raffle prizes which included tickets for a Kylie concert; a break in our very own Entrust Lodge in Wickstead Park; an overnight stay in a boutique hotel in Birmingham; and a Meal for 4 were all kindly donated and we raised over £1400 from just this alone – we thank Peach Pubs, the Racehorse pub Warwick, Entrust and all the other generous donations.
We’re delighted to announce that the event will run again in 2019, watch this space for further details! The festival is for young people (aged over 12) / adults with a disability or additional need and their guests; family and friends.
Tickets will be sold through local special schools, colleges and Day Opportunity providers, further details will be published early in 2019!
